Karlo is a classification system for trade show materials for our customers. These include office materials, advertising materials, exhibits, kitchen utensils and so on. With Karlo, we aim to to ease the handling of trade show materials, give structure to the handling process and reduce misplaced items by introducing a uniform labelling system containing all the necessary information at a glance.
For this purpose, we have developped an adhesive sticker which requires you to list all relevant information. When commissioning a trade show, the client will receive these stickers from his contact person at step one. We also provide boxes on request. All exhibitor material sent to us for trade shows should be labelled with this sticker. Each package needs its own sticker. At the trade show you will also receive additional labels which require information on how to proceed after the trade show. In this way, we ensure that you receive your leads timeously in order to process them.
If you have any questions on how to complete Karlo, please feel free to contact your project manager at step one.
Karlo is currently in a trial period and is looking forward to receiving feedback so he can improve his value. We would be very happy to hear about your experiences with Karlo. Thank you for your support.
It doesn’t always have to be faster, louder or bigger, especially when it comes to dialogue marketing: the team at step one turns conventional principles upside down with their approach to communication. Instead of size and broad distribution, our experts employ consequent focus, involvement and real dialogue. The results are smaller, more efficient projects with greater impact.
This change in thinking needs courage both for our customers and for us. It requires a whole new approach to projects: without stereotypical thinking, without limits and a continuous questioning of the usual procedures.
This is only possible thanks to the diversity of our team: experts from different areas, such as Sales, Design, Concept and Project Management, work hand in hand with short and clear decision paths and transparent communication channels. In this way complex projects are handled with ease.
It is important for us to stay true to our principles of communication, especially towards our customers. From the first meeting until implementation, step one involves its customers and employees closely and at eye level. In short: the customer becomes a partner.
step one GmbH, founded in 2001, with its headquarters in Hamburg, is a full-service provider for live communication as well as integrated marketing and sales communication. The agency is well-known and successfull on both a national and international level and therefore has a wide national and international partner network.
step one serves numerous and reputable customers from over 24 business areas, including Beiersdorf AG, AET, Mitsubishi Electric, VW, Olympus, Lübbering, Gruner+Jahr, Köttermann, dpa, ABM Greiffenberger, innogy, Siemens, EEW, HELLA Aglaia, BMS and Stylex.
step one is also certified as a sustainable company by FAMAB and supports compliance with the minimum wage and sustainability in the trade fair business.
A concept with an all-round view, from planning to implementation. Methods of communication become more and more complex. A sucessfull trade show presence is more than just a perfect trade show stand. Communication prior to, during and after the show plays an important role and requires the use of several relevant communication channels. Presenting your company as one team takes a lot of coordination between various players. We are convinced that a 360° concept, an all-round communication from a single source, is the future of live communication.
From our point of view, a good trade show lasts two years – from a common analysis, setting targets, developing a concept, implementation of a lead process until success monitoring. All areas in the planning and implementation of the brand and corporate identity come from a single source. For our customers, this means greater efficiency and significant relief.
More and more customers value a holistic support system and “put the complete package into our hands”, says Gerd Wutzler, CEO of step one. “Because they understand that their project management is easier when they work with one rather than several agencies.”
